Aqua Marine Partners grows its management team
AVENTURA, Fla. – Aqua Marine Partners, an integrated marina investment company, has named John Ross senior vice president of development and construction for Vertical Yacht Club Development, LLC, the company said in a statement Tuesday. In his new role, Ross will oversee marina growth and construction.
Ross has a strong background in commercial real estate development. He has been at the helm of nearly $1 billion dollars in new and redeveloped projects in the past 21 years. Prior to joining Vertical Yacht Club Development, Ross developed more than $250 million in projects for Flagler Real Estate Development Corporation. He also managed more than $300 million in projects for Codina Construction Company.
“John’s expertise in construction, engineering and design will be a major asset as we expand the Vertical Yacht Club brand in the United States and internationally,” said Andrew Sturner, Aqua Marine Partners founder and CEO. “He is a valuable addition to the AMP team.”
Ross is a Florida State Certified General Contractor and has constructed high-rise, mid-rise and grade-level office, industrial, retail and residential projects in addition to more than 600 acres in land development for office and industrial parks. He earned his bachelor’s from Florida International University.
