Marine Concepts names new general manager
CAPE CORAL, Fla. – Marine Concepts has appointed Matthew Chambers to general manager, effective immediately, the company said in a recent statement. Chambers has previously held management positions with Westport Shipyards, Wellcraft, U.S. Marine and K2 Industries.
“Since it would take a special individual to not only fit into Marine Concepts’ talent-filled organization, but to also help guide the team in growing the company while maintaining Marine Concepts proven reputation for quality and customer satisfaction, this appointment was given a great deal of consideration,” said J. Robert “Bob” Long, Marine Concepts’ president and owner. “Taking into account his track record and complimentary references as a make-it-happen person, I feel fortunate to have located Matt.”
Chambers will report to Long and oversee operations at all of Marine Concepts’ production facilities.
