Search is on for NMEA president

SEVERNA PARK, Md. – Due to recent association expansion and growing demands, the National Marine Electronics Association is conducting an official search for a new association president, NMEA said in a statement Friday.

“Membership has been increasing at a steady pace for a number of years and currently we are experiencing some very exciting times as a result of this growth,” said Mark Young, NMEA chairman. “For example, the NMEA has developed new educational programs for our membership to support the Installation Standards that are widely used throughout the marine industry. The role of our association president/executive director is an important and exciting one, and we’re looking for a diversified candidate with a global vision for our industry.”
