Marine Mover – Digital Antenna hires new materials manager

SUNRISE, Fla. – Digital Antenna Inc., an antenna and cellular communication technology manufacturer, has appointed Brian Fluharty to materials manager, the company reported in a recent statement.

“Brian will play a key role in streamlining the manufacturing process by implementing timely delivery schedules of raw materials, efficient inventory control, improved forecasting and cost management,” said Joanne Johnson, vice president of operations. “The result will be an even greater control of product cost and quality as well as expedited deliveries to our customers.”

Fluharty brings 23 years of experience in materials management to Digital Antenna, including practices of lean manufacturing, just-in-time delivery, optimized forecast methods and total quality management. Ten of those years were spent in military contract manufacturing. Fluharty is located at the company’s headquarters in Sunrise.
