Marine Mover – MarineMax appoints director of Latin American sales

CLEARWATER, Fla. – Frank DeVarona has joined the MarineMax team as director of Latin American Sales, the company reported in a recent statement.

DeVarona has spent most of his professional life working in the maritime industry, according to the retailer. He founded and was Dive Master for a search and rescue team in New England, owned a successful charter vessel business, was captain and assistant harbor master for a leisure cruise line and a fulltime captain for a large vessel berthed in Florida. Since 2001, DeVarona has worked as a yacht broker in the Miami area, where he has built strong relationships with both clients and yacht manufacturers, MarineMax stated.

As director of Latin American Sales, DeVarona is based out of the MarineMax Coconut Grove location.
