Marine Special Products bringing humor to boating issues

Marine Special Products Group, a boating systems maintenance and installation company out of Connecticut, is employing cartoons on its website to have a little fun with common boating problems.

The company worked with Walden Pond Marine Marketing to conceive the idea and hired former New Yorker cartoonist Al Raebuck to illustrate common boating issues, such as foul-smelling heads and uncomfortable warm quarters.

“People go boating for pleasure and enjoyment. When the systems they count on for convenience and comfort aren’t working properly, it can make for some pretty unpleasant situations,” said DG Fitton, Marine Special Products group owner and

operator. “The New Yorker cartoons on our new site point this out in a comedic and memorable fashion.”

The cartoons are on the company’s website at www.marinespecialproducts.com.
