To have any kind of success, you need to market to your customers. Thanks to Twitter, Facebook, Google+ and all of the other social media sites, your customers are online. If you don’t have a social media marketing strategy, you won’t be able to reach them – you’re fishing without bait. Here’s a roadmap for you to follow in order to be successful:
1. Set Clear Goals
First, make sure you can measure your goals. “Improve on Twitter” isn’t a good goal, but “Gain 100 followers” is. Secondly, make sure it’s within your reach to achieve the goals you set. A goal of gaining 5,000 new “Likes” in 30 days is tough for anyone to reach. But a goal of 100 new “Likes” is more realistic. If you set a goal that you’re not even close to capable of reaching, you’ll only end up disappointed.
