Cobalt unveils Marker One pontoon, honors top dealers

More than 400 Cobalt Boats dealer participants from across the US, Canada, and other International locations traveled to The Chateau on the Lake Resort and Spa on Table Rock Lake in Missouri as the company unveiled its 2015 boats, including its entry into the pontoon market, the Marker One.

“We are fortunate to have almost 100% attendance from our dealer partners and we appreciate them taking a few days out of their schedules to attend our meeting,” said Paxson St. Clair, CEO of Cobalt Boats. “We would like to thank our host, The Harbor Marina. The Harbor owns multiple marinas on Table Rock Lake including the Chateau Marina providing a perfect venue for Cobalt. This year we welcomed not only a huge percentage of our domestic dealers, but were pleased to have dealers from Canada, Europe, South Africa, and Latin America. The meeting was the world premiere of three new Cobalt models and two new Marker One Platform Series models. Our dealer partners are enthusiastic about the prospects of the upcoming selling season including the addition of the Marker One brand.”

Cobalt also recognized its top dealers with several awards.

The Top Ten awards are based on a combination of the CSI score and annual sales volume. The World’s Largest Cobalt Dealer and the number one spot in the Top Ten Dealer awards, for the third year in a row, went to Singleton Marine Group, Buford, Georgia. Singleton Marine Group is a family owned business and has been a Cobalt dealer since the 1996 model year.

Cobalt recognized SportBas from Chile as the Top International Dealer worldwide.

Also honored were the Customer Satisfaction Award recipients. Independent of sales volume and based solely on CSI scores, dealers must achieve a Net Promoter Score of 75 percent or above, out of a possible 100, in the last quarter of the model year. Cobalt recognized 72 percent of the dealer organization, 28 of which maintained a perfect score of 100.

Each year a single dealership receives an award which represents a special effort to ensure customer satisfaction and as a result, increases their CSI score. The 2014 Most Improved CSI Award was presented to Boulder Boats in Las Vegas, NV.

The top CSI honors for the Central Sales Region was also the Worldwide CSI Award winner achieving a 100% score for the second year in a row. This award was presented to Gordy’s Lakefront Marina, Lake Geneva, WI.

The Western Region CSI honors went to David’s Sport Center in Oklahoma City, OK.

The South Eastern Region CSI Award was presented to Rambo Marine, Hazel Green, AL.

The North Eastern CSI Award was presented to Modern Marine, Nashville, TN.

The Regional CSI Award for International dealers went to Boote Pfister in Germany.

Rookie of the Year Award is given to the first year dealer with top ranking sales. The 2014 award was awarded to Top Notch Marine, Pompano Beach, Florida.
