Boat shows in Los Angeles, Atlantic City and St. Louis reported strong attendance, despite one show enduring fallout from Storm Nemo, according to the National Marine Manufacturers Association.

The Atlantic City Boat Show was off by 11 percent when compared to last year and drew 32,175 visitors. Storm Nemo deterred Saturday visitors from the show, which presumably affected final attendance numbers. Attendance at the show grew 4.1 percent in 2012 before weather affected this year.

The four-day Los Angeles Boat Show, now produced in part by the NMMA, added an in-water yacht and brokerage location in Marina del Rey this year. It attracted 11,785 people, which was a 64-percent increase over last year.

Finally, the St. Louis Boat Show was relatively flat – off 1 percent when compared to last year – and attracted nearly 30,000 people, according to the NMMA. The show expanded into a new hall this year.
