NMMA adds federal affairs director to lobbying team
The National Marine Manufacturers Association is excited to welcome a new staffer to its Washington, D.C. office. Lance West joined NMMA yesterday as director of federal affairs.
He reports to Vice President of Federal and Legal Affairs Nicole Vasilaros and joins NMMA’s advocacy team lobbying on Capitol Hill and with the Administration.
West will help the NMMA team address key issues impacting recreational boating. He is a native West Virginian and avid angler and outdoorsman.
He spent the past five years as a legislative assistant for Senator Joe Manchin (WV) and he brings extensive experience handling appropriations, transportation, and natural resource issues. West can be reached at lwest@nmma.org.
