World Cat runs simultaneous training for dealer representatives

World Cat recently held its annual 2017 Sales Training at the company’s headquarters in New Bern, N.C. The boatbuilder also incorporated an inaugural service training over the same multi-day period in early December.

Both programs ran simultaneously for dealer representatives who were in attendance.

World Cat manufactures outboard-powered center and dual console catamaran models ranging from 23 feet to 32 feet, including several Glacier Bay Edition models.

“Our sales and service training programs are extensive, and produce knowledgeable program graduates from Boston to South Florida, Texas to Bermuda, and everywhere in between,” said World Cat CEO Andrew Brown. “We offer our dealer representatives an in-depth explanation of World Cat manufacturing processes, followed by an in-depth plant tour and product demonstrations. Our entire senior management is hands-on during these sessions.”

Presentations included selling the product, focusing on the unique aspects and benefits of the World Cat product and, as well as the overall benefits of a catamaran design, advanced technology utilized in the company’s newest “X” line, and C-Zone digital switching.

The training was remarkably successful, said World Cat Distribution Manager Wyatt Lane. “We had tremendous positive feedback from our dealers. But beyond the product, these representatives got deeper insight into our local culture as well,” Lane said.
