Freedom Boat Club donates $46,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of America
Freedom Boat Club recently concluded its second national cause-marketing partnership to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of America.
Total contributions among all participating clubs nationwide was $46,000. Funds raised in each of the participating club locations throughout North America were returned directly to their local regions and BBBS affiliates.
“We are very excited by the results of our “Boating Big! All Aboard For The Littles” second year effort, and especially appreciate our Freedom Boat Club franchises in supporting our nationwide campaign,” said Freedom Boat Club President and CEO John Giglio.
In addition to the fundraising component that financially benefits the local BBBS association, corporate and franchise clubs enjoyed hosting special events and free boat rides for Bigs and Littles which allowed many young people to experience the boating lifestyle, Giglio said.
“All on Deck” parties were staged across America. Bigs and Littles were invited to participate in fun games, enjoy a complimentary lunch and then take a boating adventure aboard the Freedom Boat Club fleet.
“Organizations like Freedom Boat Club that believe in our mission are key partners for Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliates across the country, both as generous fundraisers and as organizers for great events for our Littles,” said BBBS Corporate CEO Pam Iorio. “We appreciate their support.”
