Discover Boating launches Spanish language website

Discover Boating has launched a new Spanish language microsite to provide a resource for Hispanics looking for more information about getting started in boating – es.discoverboating.com.

According to U.S. Census Bureau estimates, the Hispanic population in the U.S. continues to expand, reaching a record 58.6 million in 2017 and accounted for more than half of total U.S. population growth last year.

The new site encompasses Spanish language versions of the most popular resources and information from DiscoverBoating.com, including the Boat Selector tool, Marina Finder and 23 recently updated boat detail pages. Site visitors can also order the Spanish version of the Beginner’s Guide to Boating.

Working closely with the Recreational Boating and Fishing Foundation (RBFF) during site development, Discover Boating continued its strong partnership with the Take Me Fishing campaign and their Spanish language initiative, Vamos A Pescar. The new Spanish language Boat Selector tool can also be found on VamosAPescar.org.

RBFF has developed additional Hispanic market research, demographics, and boating-related information.
