AMI joins the Outdoor Recreation Industry Roundtable

The Association of Marina Industries announced its membership to the Outdoor Recreation Industry Roundtable. AMI joins America’s outdoor recreation leaders and other marine industry associations to promote the growth of the outdoor recreation economy, through policy and legislative reform.

ORIR strives to achieve the following:

  1. Ensure the primary drivers of the outdoor recreation economy across the U.S. are recognized;
  2. Foster federal collaboration that will enable the outdoor recreation economy to reach its full potential;
  3. Remove barriers that prevent private investment from being made on public lands and waters; and
  4. Change the mindset of federal agencies so recreational access and high-quality visitor experiences are prioritized.

Throughout the Trump Administration transition, ORIR successfully engaged the administration and developed a series of white papers aimed at government reforms that will grow the outdoor recreation economy.

“AMI is excited to engage with other outdoor recreation leaders to advance the outdoor recreation economy and industries,” the association said.
