Riviera debuts 4800 Sport Yacht and 575 SUV in Miami
Riviera will debut two boats this year at the Miami International Boat Show: the 4800 Sport Yacht and the 575 SUV, alongside a number of their other new models.
Riviera will be “taking advantage of our expansive deep water basin and docks at our home at Miami Marine Stadium,” said Larry Berryman, assistant show manager for MIBS. “Seeing what they could achieve last year with all the options available in-water, they’re pulling out all the stops this year and we’re excited for what they have in store for the attendee.”
“Our stunning red-carpet showcase in Miami will demonstrate how we continue to enhance the fun and lifestyle fulfillment of our growing global Riviera Family of discerning luxury motor yacht owners,” added Chris McCafferty, U.S.-based international sales director for Riviera.
The 4800 Sport Yacht offers a multitude of entertaining features with two spacious staterooms, two bathrooms, alfresco entertaining seating in the cockpit, foredeck lounge, tender garage, aft galley and salon, as well as an atrium lounge.
All the Sport Yacht series hallmarks are offered on the 4800 and it is powered by the new Volvo Penta D8-IPS800 system with twin D8 diesel engines and IPS15 pod-drives.
“Owners of the 4800 Sport Yacht will enjoy Riviera’s spirited performance as well as all the benefits IPS, including joystick maneuverability and the innovative Glass Cockpit system that makes boating today with Riviera even easier,” said McCafferty.
The three-model SUV series combines the performance and attributes of the classic Riviera Flybridge and the entertaining features of our luxurious Sport Yachts.
“The three-stateroom/two-bathroom 575 design – with full beam master stateroom –features a clever alfresco cockpit and mezzanine design, and an aft galley and spacious salon that make her ideal for live-aboard blue-water cruising, entertaining and all types of water sports,” said Mr McCafferty.
The 575 SUV features a forward elevated helm and is available with the choice of pod or shaft-drives – with theVolvo Penta D11-IPS950 system with twin D11 diesel engines and IPS20 pod-drives or the D13-IPS1200 system with twin D13 diesel engines and IPS30 pod-drives, or with a shaft-drive package of either the Volvo D13 Series or CAT C12.9 systems.
