Maritimo America attends 2016 Sydney Boat Show with Galati Yacht Sales

Maritimo America/Galati Yacht Sales attended the Sydney International Boat Show this past week to preview the latest lineup of Maritimo Yachts. Maritimo Yachts is a brand built in Gold Coast, Australia, and imported to the U.S. since 2002.

Maritimo Yachts displayed the newest models including the M51, M61, M64 and M70 as well as the newest introduction of the Elandra Yachts lineup.

As the distributor for the Maritimo brand in North America, Maritimo America/Galati Yacht Sales had the opportunity to preview the world debut of the new M64, and sea trial the new model in anticipation of her arrival for the upcoming North American fall show season. This vessel will arrive in September where it will be on display at several East Coast boat shows, including the Norwalk, Annapolis and Ft. Lauderdale Boat Shows.

This new model has a layout with three staterooms and three heads, as well as a fully enclosed helm bridge. Maritimo says the full beam master accommodations are the largest in its class, including two full hanging lockers, ensuite head and incredible storage. Her aft galley accommodation includes the upgraded Miele Appliance package, and is powered by twin Caterpillar C18 engines and 360 degree joystick controls at the helm and cockpit. The new model was designed with a high gloss Wenge Timber interior option.

During Maritimo’s Pacific Ocean trial run following move out of the Sydney Show, the company says she produced very impressive results with a top speed well in excess of 30 knots and cruised at 27 knots burning 60 gallons per hours of fuel at a 70 percent load on the power option. Her range includes a fuel capacity of over 1400 gallons.

“It is one of the finest yachts we have brought into the U.S., I am very proud to work with Maritimo Yachts as well as our dealer partners in the U.S., including Staten Island Yacht Sales and Hampton Yachts,” said Joe Galati, president of Galati Yacht Sales. “The newest lineup of Maritimo’s will impress anyone considering a long range cruising yacht that demands the highest quality, performance, comfort and economy in the same model.”Maritimo_Galati.jpg
