USSA and NMMA create first USA Superyacht Pavilion at METSTRADE

The U.S. Superyacht Association (USSA) announced it has joined forces with the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) to create the first USA Superyacht Pavilion in the newly expanded SuperYacht Pavilion (SYP) at METSTRADE, the world’s largest trade exhibition of equipment, materials and services for the international marine leisure industry, to be held on Nov. 15- 17, 2016. This move of the U.S. superyacht industry to the world stage represents a significant accomplishment for the USSA – celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.

“Being able to offer this opportunity to our members has been a significant goal of our association for many years, and we are proud that our partnership with the NMMA has helped make the new USA Superyacht Pavilion a reality,” said Rick Gladych, USSA chairman.

The inaugural USSA/NMMA USA Superyacht Pavilion will be located in a prime position in the newly expanded SuperYacht area in the recently renamed Hall 11 — strategically situated close to the NMMA’s 27-year-old USA Pavilion (featuring recreational boating exhibits).

“This proximity will further cement the message that the boating industry in the United States is a unified force and when buyers are looking for quality, reliable and innovative boating products and services — they should buy U.S.,” said Gladych.

“We are delighted to be working with USSA to bring America’s superyacht suppliers to center stage at MetsTRADE. Our partnership with USSA ensures U.S. companies are recognized as premier suppliers to the global superyacht industry,” added Thom Dammrich, NMMA president.

There is a limited amount of space still available for new and existing exhibitors who might want to exhibit within the new USA Superyacht Pavilion. The deadline for exhibit space is July 1. There are many benefits to joining the new Pavilion including: premium location in a new superyacht Hall that is sure to get lots of attention this year, exclusive booth sizing that will maximize participants’ show budgets, minimal staff time needed as the USSA/NMMA coordinate the entire experience, marketing on exhibitors’ behalf promoting the new Pavilion, the popular USA Pavilion cocktail reception as well as pre-show and on-site support by the USSA.
