Brunswick names Steve Langlais as president of Princecraft

Brunswick Corporation (NYSE:BC) announced Monday it has named Steve Langlais as president of its Princecraft brand of freshwater boats, effective May 2. He succeeds Donald Dubois, who recently became president – european boats for Brunswick. Langlais will report to Jeff Kinsey, president – Brunswick Freshwater Group.

Langlais joins Brunswick from Soucy International, where he spent four years in various leadership roles, most recently as vice president of operations and product development for its international track division. Prior to that role, he was responsible for sales and marketing for the company. Previously, Langlais had spent 16 years with Bombardier in positions such as general manager for the advanced technology center; director of engineering and procurement for ATV and side-by-side vehicles; and various other engineering roles within its recreational products divisions.

Langlais earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Laval University, Quebec City, and an MBA from Sherbrooke University, also in Quebec. Langlais will be based in Princeville, Quebec, Canada.
