Registration opens for MDCE 2016

Secure the year’s best prices by signing up to attend the 2016 Marine Dealer Conference & Expo when registration kicks off on April 1. All month long, marine retailers and their teams will save $50 per person off the Full Conference Retail Registration Rate, with members of the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas eligible to receive an additional $75 discount for a total savings of $125 per registration.

“We are proud to maintain the same low rate for MDCE retail registration that we’ve offered for the past several years, while adding fresh value for attendees,” MRAA Vice President Liz Walz said. “As the boating market has begun to rebound, this has allowed many dealers to increase the number of employees they bring to the event, thus boosting the new initiatives they can put to work when they return to their business.”

MDCE comes to life online at MarineDealerConference.com, where prospective attendees can learn more about the event and register. During the registration process, MRAA members will be asked to first log in using their username and password in order to capture member discounts.

The 2016 MDCE takes place Dec. 5-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando. Produced jointly by MRAA and Boating Industry magazine, the conference will again feature four Education Tracks (Leadership, Sales, Marketing and Service Plus), Pre-Conference Workshops, a Learning Lab, networking events and an Opening and Closing Keynote Presentation. New for 2016, the event will also offer a fresh, education-packed schedule that includes items such as a Dealer-to-Dealer Roundtable Discussion and Dealer Case Studies.

The 2015 edition of MDCE was among the most successful conferences to date, with a total of 1,147 marine industry professionals from throughout North America and as far away as Australia traveling to Orlando. In all, 238 marine dealerships representing 875 separate locations attended last year’s conference, 40 percent of which were attending for the first time. More than 90 percent were MRAA members.

“The momentum created by MDCE illustrates the value both marine dealers and exhibitors find in the conference,” Jonathan Sweet, editor in chief of Boating Industry, said. “Each year, we add new speakers, new topics and new opportunities to connect with both dealers and exhibitors — and this year is shaping up to feature the most robust lineup yet.”

The 2015 MDCE sported a sold-out Expo Hall with more than 100 exhibitors representing almost every sector of the pleasure boating industry and filling more than 40,000 square-feet of exhibit space.
