CHESAPEAKE, Va. -- Volvo Penta of the Americas today announced five new dealers for service and sales of its marine diesel and gas products in the United States.
The new Volvo Penta dealers are Pacific Power Group, Manitowoc Marina, Boyne Boat Yard, Jacksonville Boat Sales and Liquid Wrenches.
“This is part of our ongoing strategic program of upgrading, expanding and strengthening our service network across North and South America,” said Ed Monacchio, Volvo Penta vice president, distribution development. “These five new dealers will enhance our customer service and technical support in the important Pacific Northwest, Great Lakes and North Florida markets.”
Pacific Marine Power, a division of Pacific Power Group, specializes in the design, engineering, sales and service of marine propulsion and power generation solutions for commercial, yacht, pleasure craft and defense marine applications. Pacific Marine Power is headquartered in Kent, Wash., and serves Washington, Oregon and Alaska through additional locations.
Manitowoc Marina is a full-service marina facility in Manitowoc, Wis. The company offers 250 deep-water floating slips, new and used yacht sales, indoor heated and outdoor winter storage and a full-service repair and refit facility.
Boyne Boat Yard, located in the northern Michigan town of Boyne City, on Lake Charlevoix, offers a complete range of lift services, boat and engine repairs, including services and parts, indoor heated and outdoor winter storage. Boyne Boat Yard is a Van Dam Company.
Jacksonville Boat Sales, on the Intracoastal Waterway in Jacksonville Beach, Fla., is the exclusive dealer for Chaparral in north Florida, with a complete service and parts department for boats and engines.
Liquid Wrenches provides boat sales, storage and service in Livermore, Calif., including sales of Four Winns and Bryant Boats.
