New Sea Tow location opens on Lake Sinclair in Georgia

SOUTHHOLD, N.Y. –  Sea Tow Services International Inc., the nation’s leading on-water assistance provider, is happy to announce that Capt. Jon Gridley has opened a new location: Sea Tow Lake Sinclair in Georgia. Lake Sinclair is south of Lake Oconee, where Capt. Gridley also owns a Sea Tow franchise.

“It’s a perfect fit to have these two franchises 20 miles apart,” Capt. Gridley said. “The lakes are about 19,000 acres each, and are managed by Georgia Power, but they are different because Oconee is more seasonal and Sinclair has more year-round people living on it.” Lake Sinclair is bordered by the towns of Eatonton to the north and Milledgeville to the south.

Capt. Gridley has a 19-foot Boston Whaler Raider center console Sea Tow boat stationed at Sinclair Marina, ready to come to the aid of Sea Tow members and other boaters on Lake Sinclair. “We are excited to now be on Lake Sinclair; to be part of the community and come to the aid of boaters on the lake. Our experienced Captains are standing by 24/7 to assist boaters and get them back to boating safely and quickly,” Capt. Gridley said.

“Having a Sea Tow membership certainly gives peace of mind,” he said, adding, “The new Sinclair Marina is a one-stop shop. It’s an exceptional facility with storage and launching, a full-service gas dock, fully staffed service facility and boat dealership.”

Capt. Gridley also runs the Sea Tow Clarks Hill Lake location northwest of Augusta on the Georgia/South Carolina border. In addition to adding his third Sea Tow location, he recently acquired a 19-foot Boston Whaler Guardian powered by a 150-horsepower Honda engine, to go along with a 25-foot SteigerCraft Sea Tow boat on Lake Oconee.
