CLEARWATER, Fla. – MarineMax Vacations announced today that it will integrate the innovative online tool, The Boat Village into its charter ownership and charter vacation management in the British Virgin Islands.
The Boat Village will further streamline MarineMax Vacations Tortola base operations and efficiencies with this tool that documents and tracks all vessel service, manufacturer recommended service and maintenance records for the sailboat and power catamaran fleet.
The Boat Village is a boat management and online service coordination tool that keeps an inventory of all onboard equipment, electronic manual, generates automated maintenance reminders and stores all lifetime service and maintenance records.
Lex Raas, President of Charter and Special Initiatives of MarineMax stated, “MarineMax Vacations is committed to our customers to deliver the best boating experience possible. The use of The Boat Village allows us to expand our connection, communication and collaboration with owners and customers.”
The Boat Village will provide charter yacht owners with unlimited 24/7 access to the details of all service performed on their yacht, as well as with an efficient platform to send an electronic service request and communicate with service professionals. Charter vacation guests will be able to access all boat operations manuals for their vessel as well as geographic information about their destination prior to departure as well as while on holiday.
“We are happy to see MarineMax Vacations join The Boat Village community,” said Kevin Hutchinson, founder and CEO of My-Villages, which created The Boat Village. “They are one of the best-known names in boating, and their partnership is a huge boost to our goal of bringing online service coordination to the marine industry.”Click here for reuse options!
