Webinar on new Canadian texting, email laws coming up
Discover Boating Canada is hosting a webinar May 29 on the new Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation.
The new law takes effect July 1 and impacts any business that sends emails or texts to or from Canada. The free 30-minute webinar will be hosted by Tracey Hart, director of marketing for Discover Boating Canada and presented by Lonnie Brodkin-Schneider of Miller Thomson LLP, a national Canadian law firm. It will cover basic CASL requirements and how to ensure your marketing efforts are compliant.
The webinar is open to all industry stakeholders in the U.S. and Canada.
