AER Supply teams up with Dometic for dealer ‘Cool School’

MIAMI – AER Supply, a marine wholesale distribution company specializing in complete technical systems for the commercial and pleasure boat markets, just completed its latest “Cool School,” a hands-on educational program for dealers to learn about Dometic Marine’s air conditioning, refrigeration and sanitation products. The program, officially called the Dometic Marine Service School, was held April 8 through 10 at the South Shore Harbour Resort in League City, Texas.

The program, focusing on Dometic’s Cruisair, Marine Air, Eskimo and Sealand brands, provided participants with three full days of classroom training, as well as hands-on troubleshooting and repair instruction. Forty-five dealers attended from seven different states.

New products covered included the Emerald Series Split Systems air conditioning unit, the Eskimo Ice 1000 lbs/day icemaking unit, the Spot Zero reverse osmosis water purification system, AU Air Handlers and Turbo upgrades.

Louie Swingle, Dometic Service Manager, and Joseph Schwab, Dometic Account Manager for Aftermarket Sales, led the training for Dometic. AER trainers included Nick Baldwin, AER Inside Sales/Application Specialist and Robert Conner, AER Inside Sales/Application Specialist.

“Dometic Cool School is a great way to share knowledge about Dometic’s latest products. Dealers really appreciate the hands-on training, which allows them to truly understand how the equipment works, and how it can benefit their customers,” said Rudolf Mes, General Manager of AER Supply.
