Freedom Boat Club returns to West Palm Beach

VENICE, Fla. —  Freedom Boat Club is returning to the West Palm Beach area, “with new ownership and location, a fleet of new boats, and a renewed commitment to providing excellent customer service,” said CEO John Giglio.

“This is a great market for the Freedom Boat Club and we wanted to make a fresh start,” Giglio said. “We take pride in providing our members a first-rate boating experience. We are very pleased to add such a professional group to our network and we are confident they will provide an exceptional boating experience.” The newest location of the Freedom Boat Club is located at Lake Park Harbor Marina at 105 Lake Shore Drive, Lake Park. It is owned and operated by Dan Lund and Dave Gammon.

“Freedom Boat Club is a smart and convenient alternative to boat ownership,” Lund said. “We are committed to providing a relaxing, fun experience for our club members.”

The Freedom Boat Club, which began in 1989 in Sarasota, continues to grow its membership and franchise locations across the country.  Being a part of Freedom Boat Club not only provides members the opportunity to enjoy boating at their home location but reciprocal access to over 75 locations throughout the country.  Beyond the national network, the greatest benefit of club membership is avoiding the typical hassles associated with boat ownership: maintenance, repair, cleaning, slip rental, storage, insurance, winterization, towing trailers, etc.

Membership in the Freedom Boat Club also gives boaters a wide array of options for fishing, sporting or recreational use.   The Lake Park Harbor Marina location will open the first week of March with a new fleet of boats.  Interested future members may schedule a tour of the Club online or by phone.

“Our new location is convenient and centrally located,” Gammon said, “one mile north of the Palm Beach Inlet, five minutes from Peanut Island, and 15 minutes from the ocean. The marina borders the Lake Worth Lagoon, which is a popular spot for wake-boarding, tubing and skiing.”

Freedom Boat Club members also enjoy other off-the-water benefits. The new location will have a full social calendar of events and activities that provides opportunities to connect with others who enjoy boating.  March 29 is the first of many events to be hosted at the Club.  The first event will be open to new members and those interested in a membership.

  1. How do I contact Mr Giglio? I was a member of the Palm Beach Boat CLub (formerly Freedom Boat Club in Riviera Beach). I would like to know the price, and actual location of the new Freedom Boat Club.

    Thanks.
