Legendary Marine announces new regional scholarship program and launches ‘Family Fund’ program

DESTIN, Fla. — Legendary Marine, the #1 Ranked Boat Dealer in North America for 2012 and 2013 and the Emerald Coast’s largest boat dealership with sales and service locations in Destin, Fort Walton Beach, Panama City and Gulf Shores, AL, has recently initiated two new financial support programs to benefit area youth and its employees’ families.

The new Legendary Marine Scholarship Program has been launched in four distinct market areas to benefit graduating seniors in furthering their education. A $1000 Legendary Marine Scholarship will be presented this Spring to up to four deserving students graduating in 2014 from schools in the Panama City, Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Gulf Shore area markets. Applications were sent to a total of 27 high schools and trade schools in the markets where Legendary Marine operates boat dealerships.

In addition, the dealership just rolled out a new, year ’round “Family Fund” program that allows employees with children from middle school through college to apply once a year (per child) for special funds to support special youth activities. Support areas run the full gamut, from educational funds to special trips, community programs, sports/athletics, training, military or other projects.
