Larson Boat Group names new vice president of sales and marketing

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Patrick (Pat) J. Blake has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing of Larson Boat Group (LBG). Mr. Blake comes to LBG with over 20 years of experience in the marine industry – the bulk of which is in sales management and business development.

“I have known and worked with Pat for over 20 years,” Rob Parmentier, President and CEO of LBG, said. “I always deeply valued his passion for his dealers, regional sales managers and sales staff and could not wait to add him to our team.”

Mr. Blake worked for over 23 years in a variety of senior executive positions at Brunswick Corporation. He served as the Vice President of Global Sales for the Bayliner, Trophy and Maxum boat brands, as well as the Vice President and Product Portfolio Executive for Sea Ray Boats. Most recently, Mr. Blake served as Vice President of Business Development for Digital AV, located in Knoxville, Tenn., where he developed a business and marketing plan to lead the company in its new direction as a technology consulting business.

Mr. Parmentier noted that Mr. Blake’s prolific leadership experience, talent in creating new business connections, and successful management of all levels of the distribution channel – from single stores to global distributors – will prove to be a powerful asset to LBG as it continues to expand and grow.
