Sideshift announces new CEO appointment

OTTAWA, Canada — Bow and stern thruster manufacturer Sideshift announces the appointment of Rob Griffin as CEO. Over the last twenty-six years he has worked in senior leadership roles driving marketing, sales and business development initiatives for several of the world’s top consumer products companies, including Flextronics, Panasonic and Philips Electronics.

Griffin is based at Sideshift’s headquarters in Ottawa, Canada, and is excited to be leading the company forward. “I am thrilled to be part of the Sideshift team, and for the tremendous growth opportunity that we have to bring our unique thruster technology to the boating consumer,” said Griffin.

Sideshift founder and president Mark Houle welcomes him to the CEO role. “Rob is a great appointment for the organization, and to find someone with his track record of building and managing international sales and marketing initiatives is a real step forward for Sideshift.
