Boating Industry to sponsor IMBC program
Boating Industry has signed on as the Best Profit Award Live Poll Sponsor for this year’s Best Profit Ideas Panel at the International Boatyard & Marina Conference.
Marina industry professionals were invited to submit their best profit ideas to IMBC, with a panel of expert judges selecting the three best ideas as finalists. The three finalists will present their ideas as part of a panel on January 30 at IMBC. (Click here for full session details.)
The finalists are Abbie McAllister, Saybrook Point Marina, Old Saybrook, Conn.; Dick Neland, Inlet Harbor Marina, Ponce Inlet, Fla.; and Roxanne Rockvam, Rockvam Boat Yards, Spring Park, Minn. The judges for the finalists were Rick Chapman, CMM; Joe Springer, CMM; and Hank Whitley, CMM.
Each finalist will present his or her idea to the room and the audience will vote via text in real-time, in a poll sponsored by Boating Industry. The results will be presented via PowerPoint slide in real time as well. The entire panel will be moderated by Ken MacDonald, CMM, of Bay Port Yachting Center.

The winner will receive an iPad courtesy of Harbormasters International, as well free membership in the Association of Marina Industries and complimentary registration for IMBC in 2015.
