Nautic Global Group meeting provides strategies for success

ELKHART, IN, August 22, 2013 — With an eye toward strengthening partnerships and building for the future, Nautic Global Group welcomed 700 guests from more than 350 boat dealerships around the world during its annual dealer conference. The event, held at the company's headquarters in Elkhart, Indiana, focused on introducing innovative new online tools and the unveiling of an aggressive product development direction.

The theme of this year's meeting was Plan To Win, reflecting the continued growth strategy for the company and its dealer partners.

"Our dealers are on the front lines of our collective businesses, and we intend to continue delivering as many tools as possible to maximize their ability to forecast, buy and sell Nautic Global Group products," said Doug Sexton, Nautic Global Group Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing. "By working together, we can build on each other's strengths, and use shared information and training to consistently improve the incredible team we've put together."

One of the key new innovations is a major expansion of the NGG Dealer Portal, which is designed to improve communication and help dealers better plan and understand inventory needs, while providing more visibility throughout the ordering process. The site allows more flexibility than ever for dealers to make changes to their orders and to see exactly when their orders will go into production. That gives the retailers the ability to communicate more effectively with consumers and let them have a more accurate understanding of when orders will be delivered.

"In addition to dedicating ourselves to improving dealer communication and strategic information, we have continued to invest in product development to ensure brand competitiveness," said Sexton. "We've made some incredible changes to the product lines, introducing new models, offering even more option packages, and updating some of our best-selling boats. Our goal is to make it easier than ever to order, stock and sell NGG brands."
