Consumer comfort at 11-month high

The Bloomberg Consumer Comfort Index is up for the sixth-straight week, reaching its highest level since April 2012.

Bloomberg economists credited shrinking unemployment, rising home prices and a rallying stock market for the pickup in consumer confidence.

Confidence among those 18 to 34, as well as unmarried people, rose to a five-year high in the weekly index.
