Attendance at the 2013 Progressive Insurance Baltimore Boat Show, which ran from Feb. 28 through March 4, was up 11 percent year-over-year, attracting more than 13,000 visitors over the course of the four-day event.

The show also expanded its exhibitor footprint in 2013 by 30 percent, encompassing 300,000 feet of exhibit space and showcasing more than 250 boats during the show.

The NMMA said that initial reports from exhibitors at the Baltimore Boat Show reflect a common sentiment heard at other shows, “more boat buyers are out.”
