Event brings together more than 200 brokers for education-filled day

Seattle, WA - (January 24, 2013)– YachtWorld, the world’s largest Internet yacht brokerage portal and part of Dominion Marine Media, has announced the agenda for its upcoming Ft. Lauderdale YachtWorld University on January 31.

This year’s event includes subjects in which brokers have shown interest, from industry trends to best practices for successful online marketing. YachtWorld has invited speakers to share their expertise in marine industry trends, social media, and video tips and tricks. Brokers will also have a first glimpse of YachtWorld’s newest products, participate in discussion forums, and network with fellow yacht brokers and industry leaders.

“As the world becomes more connected, it is more important than ever for brokers to use the tools at their disposal,” said Tim Claxton, brand manager, YachtWorld.  “We are excited to share our ideas with the brokerage community on how they can best leverage YachtWorld services, and provide general information to help them be successful online.”

The Ft. Lauderdale YachtWorld University, hosted by YachtWorld and the Florida Yacht Brokers Association (FYBA), is a full-day event in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, scheduled for Thursday, January 31 at the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 Hotel.

CPYB members are eligible to receive 10 credits for attending this event. As always, these events are free for all attendees but require pre-registration.
