Southold, NY – January 3, 2013 – The Sea Tow Foundation, a nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization created by Sea Tow Founder and CEO Capt. Joe Frohnhoefer to help promote safe boating practices, is happy to announce the Grand Prize Winner of its first-ever Facebook Life Jacket Photo Contest. Florida boater Alan Izzard won a one-year Sea Tow Gold Membership for his photo of five kids in life jackets at the rail of a sailboat in a crowded marina, entitled:

“How Do We Get Off?”

The Grand Prize winner also took home one of 30 Revere ComfortMax Manual inflatable life jackets, valued at $155 each, that were awarded during the month-long online photo contest held on the Sea Tow Foundation’s Facebook page.

“We congratulate Alan for his prize-winning photo, which shows five children wearing a variety of appropriate PFDs and helps us to promote life jacket use even when in a marina,” said Sea Tow Foundation Executive Director Gail R. Kulp, CAE. “We hope he enjoys his year of Sea Tow membership and that he and all of our winners make good use of their new inflatable life jackets. Thanks to everyone who participated and voted in the contest. Stay tuned to our Facebook page for more contests like this one in future.”
