Aktion Parks joins Olympic wakeboarding effort

ORLANDO, FLA (October 16, 2012) — Today Correct Craft subsidiary Aktion Parks announced that it has joined with the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) in an effort to make wakeboarding an Olympic Sport. In addition to a financial contribution, Aktion Parks will work closely with the IWWF to promote their Wakeboard 2020 Vision campaign.

The goal of the IWWF and Aktion Parks is to have wakeboarding included in the 2020 Summer Olympics.

IWWF President Kuno Ritschard stated, “We are thrilled to have the Aktion Parks team join us in this important effort. We are convinced that wakeboarding will be an exciting addition to the Summer Olympics and the IWWF sincerely appreciates the help we are receiving from Aktion Parks.”
