Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau to provide hotel booking services for IBEX 2012

LOUISVILLE, KY – May 2, 2012 – The owners of the International BoatBuilders’ Exhibition & Conference (IBEX) today announced that the Louisville Convention & Visitors Bureau (LCVB) will be the exclusive housing agency for this year’s annual boating industry trade show and networking event.
IBEX 2012 is scheduled to take place at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Oct. 2‐4.
“The LCVB brings extensive local knowledge, experience and working relationships with the best hotels in the Louisville area,” said Carl Cramer, co‐show director of IBEX. “We are confident their talented team of travel professionals will provide prompt and attentive service to the more than 5,000 people attending IBEX 2012.”
LCVB has negotiated IBEX discounts with 19 hotels in the downtown and airport area, ensuring the lowest room rates and “extras” that are only available to attendees who make their reservations in the IBEX room block.
As a special incentive this year, LCVB is also offering a monthly drawing for free gifts.
Everyone who uses the LCVB reservation service is automatically entered. The Grand Prize, two tickets to the 2013 Kentucky Derby, will be awarded at IBEX in October. Other monthly prizes include gift certificates for an official personalized Louisville Slugger baseball bat and special offerings from other Louisville attractions to be announced.
